A New Chapter: Thank You for Over a Decade of Support
After more than ten incredible years, it’s time for a new chapter in the story of Youthworkhacks. I want to take a moment to say thank you to every single one of you—whether you’ve been reading since the early days or stumbled across the site more recently. Your support, comments, messages, and stories have meant the world to me.
Together, we’ve shared a lot of highs. This site has had the privilege of winning awards, gaining recognition, and becoming a resource for youth workers, volunteers, and church leaders around the world. But beyond the milestones and accolades, what stands out most to me are the conversations and connections I’ve been able to share with so many of you. You’ve shared your own experiences, insights, and challenges, which have made this journey truly rich and meaningful.
However, as with all things, seasons change. Youthworkhacks has been a passion project, but it’s time to broaden the focus. The posts, resources, and materials from this site will be archived, and while they won’t be actively updated, they’ll still be available on a new website, which I’m excited to announce is coming soon.
This new website will expand beyond youth work to cover a wider spectrum of theology and ministry. Youth ministry will still play a key role, but it will be part of a broader conversation that includes leadership, church life, and mission. It reflects the journey I’ve been on over the last decade and the many conversations I’ve had with you—realising that youth work is part of a larger whole that connects deeply with how we engage with the gospel in our communities.
Rest assured, I’m not going anywhere! I’m still available for coaching, training, and consultancy, and I’m always up for continuing the conversation. Whether you’re grappling with the complexities of youth ministry or thinking through theology and leadership, I’m here to help.
Lastly, I want to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has commented, messaged, or shared their own stories with me over the years. Your encouragement, your questions, and your wisdom have shaped this space into what it is today. I’m excited to step into this new season together.
